We always endeavour to use local produce for our breakfasts whether you choose the hearty country breakfast or another choice from our breakfast menu. We are open all year so that you can experience Devon in all seasons.
Prospect House is located just north of the village of Newton Tracey and was built in the 1850s. It was used principally as a farmhouse until 1980 when it became a family home. Set in the heart of the Devon countryside yet is only 2 miles from the A39 and just four miles from the centre of Barnstaple, the regional centre of North Devon. The popular Hunters Inn is just one mile away and offers a wide selection of bar food and an a la carte restaurant and other good restaurants are short drive away. A no smoking policy operates in the house, however guests are welcome to smoke outside and enjoy the country views.
